dynamite darling

Half Peranakan Chinese and half Caucasian. Australian born. Killer curves. Sparkly, glittery things. Tattoos, pin-up dresses and lace stockings. Crystals, mushrooms, Victorian etchings. Fairy lights, gingerbread, boots. Harry Potter. Little dogs, corsets, hearts and winged eyeliner. Fairytales, men in uniform and Victorian dandies. Incredibly capricious tastes. Happiest visiting new places and watching British murder mysteries with my boyfriend and partner in crime.

Dorothy Perkins- customer service fail. Do not buy from them.

So I ordered over $150 worth of clothes from Dorothy Perkins over 2 weeks ago and it hasn’t arrived. My emails to customer service have not been responded to and their customer service phone line is disconnected.

I went to their Facebook page and saw that since the beginning of May, this issue has been happening for many other customers. I did get a response from their Facebook team but it’s a stock-standard reply that everyone else has received.

I’m so pissed off about this; not even having the decency to respond to your customers is appalling. I just want a refund but other people have been promised a refund- then haven’t received it!

I will never shop at Dorothy Perkins again and by god, I’ll be telling everyone I know to never buy from them again.

"You are the beautiful distress of mathematics. For you I would peel open the clouds like new fruit and give you lightening and thunder as a dowry. I would make the sky shed all of its stars, light and rain and I would clasp the constellations across your waist and I would make the heavens your cape and they would be pleased to cover you. They would be pleased to cover you. May I please cover you?"
